Donation Refund Policy

Introduction
Kiran Society recognizes the importance of transparency and fairness when processing donation refunds, especially with the increasing use of digital payments. We expect our donors to make informed decisions when contributing but also acknowledge that mistakes can happen or circumstances may change.

Policy
Kiran Society will consider all requests for donation refunds and make every effort to process them. We may request additional information or documentation to verify the request and ensure a smooth process. However, the decision to grant a refund ultimately lies with Kiran Society. In cases where tax exemption certificates have already been issued, refunds may not be possible.

Requesting a Refund
To request a donation refund, please submit a written request within 7 days of your donation date. This date can be:
The date you made an online or electronic donation.
The date you handed over a cheque or demand draft to Kiran Society or its authorized representative.
The date you mailed a cheque or demand draft to Kiran Society.
Your written request (email or physical letter) must include the following details:
Date of Donation
Donation Amount
Payment Method:
Cheque/Draft: Include Cheque/Draft Number
Credit Card: Include the last 4 digits of the Credit Card Number
Online Donation: Include your Donation ID
