Foreign Minister of the Swiss Confederation visited the KIRAN center

Today KIRAN society was bestowed by the visit of the Foreign Minister of the Swiss Confederation and head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Mr. Cassis Ignazio. Mr. Baum Andreas, Ambassador of Switzerland to India was also the part of the delegation. Mr. Cassis was welcomed by the executive director of the KIRAN center Ms. Sangeeta J.K. The member of the delegation lit the lamp to embark their 

visit to KIRAN center. Mr. Cassis comes from the Italian speaking part of Switzerland Children of the inclusive school of the KIRAN center has welcomed the guests with a song in Italian. Differently abled and non-differently abled children also performed a dance to showcase the Indian culture. Mr. Cassis the foreign minister of Swiss Confederation addressed the KIRAN Family, children, Staff with his gracious words to conclude the delightful event.

Post the cultural program the delegation visited the Human Resource Training Center Vocational Skills Training center, Special School, Inclusive School, Orthotic and Prosthetic workshop, Physiotherapy unit, interacted with the children.

Mr. Cassis interacted with the trainees to understand how they are learning and how it will help them and differently able children.

The other members of the delegation were Nageli Raphael Assistant State Secretary for Asia/ Pacific Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Palmiero Patrizia personal advisor to the foreign minister, Crevoisier Jean-Marc Head of Information Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Mona Tamara Deputy head of  mission, Embassy of Switzerland to India, Beltz Johannes Director Museum Rietberg, Pfister Jessica Journalist of the Swiss news magazine Schweizer Illustrierte, Van Dierendonck Bernard Photographer of the Schweizer Illustrierte.

Visit was concluded with a group photos of the delegation with the children of KIRAN inclusive school. Medical Director of the KIRAN Mr. Moreno Toldo, Program Director Mr. Satish Mishra and Director of Operation Mr. Ashok Singh facilitated the visit.
