Rights and duties of Office-bearers:-

President

1) Presiding over meetings of the General Body and the Executive Committee; and in his abscence any executive body member may preside the meeting.

2) Fixing and confirming date of meeting on the advice of the Secretary.

3) Casting the Presidential vote in case of equal votes casted on both sides in any issue under discussion.

4) Exercising all other powers in accordance with the Constitution.

Secretary:

1) Acquiring grants, donations, subscriptions etc. for the Society and give receipts thereof.

2) Calling ordinary and special meetings as per the need from time to time.

4) Signing circulars, letters, documents etc. of the Society.

5) Giving notice of meeting to members and noting down their minutes.

6) Representing the Society in legal procedures.

7) Taking disciplinary action against paid employees.

8) Exercising all other powers given by the Constitution.

Treasurer:

1) Preparing accounts of funds and property of the Society.

2) Maintaining accounts of income and expenditure.

3) Exercising all powers given by the President and Secretary.

Executive Committee

a) Formation: The Executive Committee will be formed with the approval of 2/3 majority of the General Body, which shall be comprised with President, Secretary,  Treasurer and six members. In this way the total strength of Executive Committee shall be nine.

b) Meetings: Ordinary meetings of the Executive Committee will be held thrice a year; special meetings may be called any time.

c) Period of notice: Ordinary meetings will be called at a 10-days notice and special meetings at a 2 days notice.

d) Quorum: The quorum for the Executive Committee meetings will be more than half of its membership.

e) Fillings of vacancies: In the case of  any vacancy - either office-bearer or member of the Executive Committee, it will elect with two-thirds of its majority to any suitable member of the General Body as its member for the remaining part of its tenure.

f) Right and duties of Executive Committee:

1) Discussing and approving the budget of the Society.

2) Acquiring donations, grants, subscriptions, gifts etc. for the Society.

3) Appointing sub-committees for smooth running of the Society.

4) Safeguarding the moveable and immovable property of the Society.

5) Taking decision about appointment and removal of the paid employees of the Society.

g) Tenure: The tenure of the Executive Committee will be three years ordinarily.
