KIRAN Centre is happy to share that THE NATIONAL TRUST for the welfare of persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation & Multiple Disabilities, (MINISTRY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE &  EMPOWERMENT, New Delhi)  has awarded KIRAN Society as BEST NGO for the year 2008.

The award was received by Ms. Sangeet J.K., Founder & Executive Director, KIRAN Centre together with Ms. Gyanda Gonarkar, a student of KIRAN Centre, affected with Cerebral Palsy from Mrs. Meera Kumar, Union Cabinet Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India and Mrs. Poonam Natarajan, Chairperson, THE NATIONAL TRUST, New Delhi on 12th September, 2008 on its 8th Annual General Meeting held at Auditorium of Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, 1, Circular Road, Opp. Chanakyapuri P.S., New Delhi.
