The KIRAN-Society with its staff-team are happy to share with you the honor and joy, to have received on 15th May 06 in New Delhi the "Harmony and Understanding Award", through the hands of Sri Saumnath Chatterjee, the Speaker of the Indian Parlament. Sri Bruno Schmid, Swiss Counsellor, was representing the Swiss Ambassador at the award-ceremony.

On December 8th, Sangeeta received in her home-town St.Gallen the Award Brandenberger, handed over by Carlo Schmid, member of the Swiss parliament. Around 300 persons were present in this celebration: Friends of the KIRAN village, representatives of the authority, former Award holders, journalists, and the representative of the KIRAN executive committee in Varanasi, Mr. Rakesh Saraogi. |
